Everyone is desperate to get their business on top of search engine especially Google by improving their online marketing efforts, but there is one thing they care more about is the year's marketing budget which has already been decided. Demo Purchase:
Ask one of your friends or employees to visit website, act as a customer to go through the process of buying a product or trying to get in contact with you. Note down all the things you and your friend notice during the process; the results might surprise you as surely there will be one or more changes you need to make that will increase your conversion rate, by at least 5-10 percent.

Add more keywords to a webpage:
Just go through your whole website, make a note of pages that lack content or have no content in terms of keywords you want to promote for those particular pages. It is very important to let Google know what your page is all about, and is only possible when you add keyword related content on your pages. Let your content writers write a beautiful piece of content - user oriented not keyword stuffed, and places it over those pages.

Might be wondering about this new term, well I define it as those pages on your website that are not part of what you are offering or selling, they are the added pages that give an extra push to your main pages of the website. Yes, I am talking about articles and blog content on your website. It is always advisable to add more and more content to your website and what better than articles and blog section to support your keywords and getting anchor links from them.

Call to Action:
Check your website to get possible inclusion of call to action, be it Call Back, Request Quote or Live Chat button. It is advisable to get calls to action on your website navigation bar that usually acts as quick conversion of your website visitors.

Request Feedback:
Address your website visitors by including 'Request Feedback' on your website. Ask your visitor if they are not able to find information that they are looking for, prompt them to email their queries using 'Request Feedback'. Make it visible to them.

Update Sitemap:
There are generally two types of Sitemap that help you over search engines - HTML and XML. HTML Sitemap is for your website visitors and XML Sitemap is usually for search engine. It is advisable to update your Sitemap every month, if not then make sure to update them every two months.

Fix 404 Pages:
Fix your 404 pages. Add custom 404 pages that will show up for any incorrect URL of your website.
